INSTALLING THE INSIGNIA HD CAMCORDER DRIVER SOFTWARE

  1. Create a new folder on the desktop (Right click on the desktop > New > Folder) and name it Camcorder Driver.
  2. Download the installer file at this link: http://www.insigniaproducts.com/cms/files/NS-DCC5HB09 - HD Camcorder.zip.  Approximately 58MB.
  3. Locate the downloaded file and open it.
  4. Copy all the files from the downloaded file to the newly created Camcorder Driver folder.
  5. Double click the file Launch.exe (sometimes Launch; without the extension) and select desired install option (English/French/Spanish).
  6. Click on Install Driver button.  The installer runs.
  7. It is recommended that you restart the computer to ensure proper operation of the driver software.
